Thomas M. Cook
President, RME

Tom Cook is the owner and President of TMC General Contracting Inc., a Maui-based general contracting company. A carpenter by trade, Tom has been living and building on Maui for the past 34 years and has been a licensed General Contractor for the past 20 years. He is currently a board member of the Maui Contractors Association and served as the associations past president for three consecutive one-year terms. Tom has also served as one of the 25 members of the Maui County General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) for 3.5 years as a representative from the Haiku area. Tom’s passion for building is complemented by his love for Maui which keeps him committed to the smart growth of our island. Tom enjoys working with his children, Kama Cook, Alana Scott and Chris Reynon. Tom has three grown children and three grand children.
Jacob Kama Lei Cook
Vice President
Survey and Construction Layout

Kama is a licensed general contractor and has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry. He is T.M.C.’s surveyor and performs construction layout as well as construction as-built drawings. He is detail oriented and has excellent communication skills. Kama was born and raised on Maui and he has an affinity for tree houses.
Alana Scott
P.E., S.E.

Alana is T.M.C. General Contracting’s in-house engineer and project manager. Alana received her Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science degree from Gonzaga University and spent six years as a structural design engineer at Magnusson Klemencic Associates in Seattle, Washington. At Magnusson Klemencic Associates, Alana worked on notable projects such as the Phoenix Convention Center which is a 200,000+ square foot, multi story convention center and parking garage, and the 21st Century Tower in Shanghai, China which is a 42-story hotel and condominium high-rise. Alana’s engineering knowledge and construction experience allows T.M.C. to communicate and coordinate more effectively with architects and engineers, which enables the construction team and the design team to work together more efficiently for the benefit of the project and the Owner.
Richard Hines
Project Manager

Richard Hines is the Project Manager for TMC General Contracting Inc. Richard has been dedicated to TMC for over ten years, and has worked extensively and professionally in all aspects of construction from commercial projects to custom homes for thirty years. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii he has worked on most of the Hawaiian Islands as well as areas in the mainland such as New York City, Hamptons, N.Y. and Massachusetts.

Richard has a genuine, hard working value, ready and reliable, implementing all jobs and work at his best. Richard Hines and family have lived happily on Maui for twenty-one years.
